IGNEOUS

I create sustainable artwork through slow, embodied processes in cooperation with the material and landscape, transforming what we tend to see as objects into things and back into the process of life and human focus, emphasizing the connectedness in everything (Ingold, 2010).

Recognizing that we are part of the matter we explore and the entanglement between humans and non-humans, the way we conceive of our own behavior, ecological relationship and evolutionary dynamics, shapes the kind of future we imagine for our lives on this planet.

We are continuously becoming, as everything is a continual ever shifting now, and in so we have the power to make change. Finding the world of today in need of collective and unified actions, to respond to climate change and the increasing polarity in societies, my work offers thoughts towards re-imagining the world in cooperation between humans and the natural world and, calmness as a state of being in the present moment – the only moment that holds the potential for change.
